1. Back to Hogwarts: The HBO Max Platform 9¾ Fan Experience

London’s annual Back to Hogwarts celebration is moving away from King’s Cross this year. The official event is a one-day HBO Max Platform 9¾ Fan Experience at Old Billingsgate, close to the Tower of London.
The approximately 60-minute experience is inspired by the forthcoming HBO Original adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Visitors can expect interactive areas, photo opportunities, gaming, exclusive giveaways and a preview of the new series. This is the main official London celebration, so do not travel to King’s Cross expecting the traditional station countdown.
Every visitor, including children, needs a timed ticket. Bring identification matching the booking name, and remember that guests under 18 must attend with a responsible adult.
| Location | Old Billingsgate Market, Lower Thames Street, City of London |
|---|---|
| Date | 1 September |
| Times | 11am–7pm; entry is by timed slot |
| Cost | FREE |
| Booking | Required through the official Eventbrite page |
2. Fenty Beauty Fluid Flex Gym Pop-Up

Fenty Beauty is turning Covent Garden Piazza into the Fluid Flex Gym to launch the new Pro Filt’r Fluid Flex Natural Matte Longwear Foundation. The waterproof formula is designed to flex with facial movement without creasing or settling, and it launches in 50 shades with a natural matte, skin-like finish.
At the FREE pop-up, visitors can discover the new formula, receive help finding a shade and take part in playful gym-inspired challenges and photo moments. It is one of the seven main Space NK activations at Beyond Beauty Festival, so you can combine it with several other beauty pop ups on the Piazza.
The official Fluid Flex Gym roadshow continues after London: Exchange Square in Manchester on 19 September, Bullring Birmingham on 26 September and Paradise Place in Liverpool on 3 October.
| Location | Covent Garden Piazza, Covent Garden, London |
|---|---|
| Dates | 4–13 September |
| Times | 11am–7pm; the wider festival programme begins at 12pm on 4 September |
| Cost | FREE |
| Booking | Walk-in |
3. L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele x Uber Eats

L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele is partnering with Uber Eats to give away 150 FREE pizzas at its Soho restaurant. Visitors can choose between the restaurant’s classic Margherita and Marinara pizzas, both rooted in the traditional Neapolitan menu that made the original Naples pizzeria famous.
The giveaway runs for only two hours and the total is shared across all visitors, so this is one of the September London events where arriving before the advertised start time is sensible. The Soho restaurant does not normally take reservations, and the giveaway is expected to operate as a walk-in event.
| Location | L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, 44 Old Compton Street, Soho, London |
|---|---|
| Date | 1 September |
| Times | 12pm–2pm |
| Cost | 150 FREE Margherita and Marinara pizzas |
| Booking | Walk-in |
4. JAŸ-Z 30 Trafalgar Square Pop-Up

The JAŸ-Z 30 celebration is bringing a large-scale immersive installation to Trafalgar Square ahead of JAY-Z’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium concerts. The London chapter marks three decades of his music and the 25th anniversary of the acclaimed album The Blueprint.
Inside the FREE experience, televisions from the era will show music videos, live performances and early-2000s programming, recreating the cultural atmosphere around the album’s 2001 release. Visitors can also shop the London-exclusive JAŸ-Z 30th Anniversary Collection and explore pieces connected to Armand de Brignac and Assouline’s The Book of HOV: A Tribute to JAY-Z.
This is the Trafalgar Square installation, not the separate Camden merchandise pop-up that ran from 27 August to 2 September.
| Location | Trafalgar Square, Westminster, London |
|---|---|
| Dates | 1–5 September |
| Times | 1–4 September 11am–7pm; 5 September 12pm–6pm |
| Cost | FREE entry; merchandise available to purchase |
| Booking | Walk-in |
5. Matrix x KATSEYE Pop-Up

Matrix is celebrating KATSEYE’s two London tour dates with a FREE activation at The O2. The partnership turns the group’s choreography into “hairography”, with six signature Matrix Moves inspired by the members’ different styles and hair textures.
Visitors can try a dance challenge for the chance to win products, collect samples, use a FREE photobooth and discover exclusive Boots promotions. Products connected to the campaign include Miracle Creator Multi-Benefit Leave-In Treatment, Food For Soft Oil Serum, A Curl Can Dream Light Hold Gel, Instacure Build-A-Bond Billion Bond Oil and Glow Mania Super Gloss Protecting Mask.
The pop-up is open during the day, so you do not need a ticket to KATSEYE’s Wildworld Tour concerts to visit the activation.
| Location | The O2, Peninsula Square, North Greenwich, London |
|---|---|
| Dates | 3–4 September |
| Times | 10am–8pm |
| Cost | FREE |
| Booking | Walk-in |
6. The Ordinary PDRN: Off the Hook

The Ordinary has opened a two-week activation inside Boots Beauty to launch its first dedicated eye cream: Lacto-PDRN 4% + B9 Eye Cream. The vegan formula combines lab-made Lacto-PDRN with vitamin B9 and is designed to firm, hydrate and visibly improve fine lines, puffiness and texture around the eyes.
At PDRN: Off the Hook, you can try the new formula, play the Stop the Clock game for the chance to win FREE gifts and ask The Ordinary experts to build a personalised skincare regimen. Until 6 September, customers spending £25 on The Ordinary in store can receive a FREE Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides 30ml moisturiser, excluding sets and while stocks last.

7. LOOKFANTASTIC Presents: The Fresh Cycle – New Season Launderette

LOOKFANTASTIC is bringing its AW26 New Season campaign to life by transforming a traditional laundrette into a one-day beauty destination. The idea is to “wash away” last season and refresh your routine through new products, trends and personalised recommendations.
The experience includes the Beauty Wash Cycle for tailored product suggestions, a Scent Booster fragrance-matching station, a Beauty Habit Swap and a Wash & Wear styling area. There is also a Beauty Detergent Dispenser where visitors can build a beauty pick-and-mix for £15. The event is FREE, but you need to reserve a ticket through the correct LOOKFANTASTIC Eventbrite listing.
| Location | 55 Curtain Road, Shoreditch, London |

| Cost | FREE entry; Beauty Detergent Dispenser costs £15 |
| Booking | FREE Eventbrite ticket required |
8. Ghost Café Pop-Up

Ghost is opening a three-hour café experience to introduce its Dream fragrance wardrobe and the new Ghost Moody Dream Eau de Parfum. Moody Dream combines chocolate noir and dried rose with a warm, velvety finish, giving visitors a clear contrast to lighter scents such as Sunday Dream, Sweet Dream and Peachy Dream.
During the FREE café takeover, visitors can collect coffee, discover the fragrances and pick up goodies while stocks last. Because the activation lasts only from 2pm until 5pm, it is worth treating this as a short sampling event rather than an all-day shop.
| Location | Castiglione, 17 Whitcomb Street, West End, London |
|---|---|
| Date | 3 September |
| Times | 2pm–5pm |
| Cost | FREE |
| Booking | Walk-in |
9. Oatly x Goodhood: Monochrome by Oatly

Oatly and Goodhood are turning the Shoreditch lifestyle store completely matcha green. Monochrome by Oatly combines an installation, café and gift shop built around the Oatly Matcha Latte Oat Drink, a frothable oat drink made with matcha and a hint of vanilla.
FREE drinks include Pear & Jasmine Matcha and Pandan Matcha. On 3 and 10 September, London’s first Colour Matching Matcha Bar will offer a professional colour assessment followed by a bespoke Oatly matcha created in the visitor’s selected shade. The store will also sell Oatly x Goodhood accessories and limited ceramics by Liam Owen, including matcha mugs, incense holders and trinket trays.
| Location | Goodhood, 15 Hanbury Street, Shoreditch, London |
|---|---|
| Dates | 3–13 September |
| Drink times | Thursday–Saturday 11am–5pm; Sunday–Wednesday 12pm–5pm |

10. The Motel Florist

The Motel Florist is a two-day celebration of Motel denim in Soho. Visitors can build a denim-inspired bouquet, drink matcha from Juju Home Cha and use a photobooth. Completing the photobooth activity can unlock a FREE T-shirt, and the first 50 visitors each day can receive a FREE pair of Motel jeans.
The denim range includes low-rise Parallel jeans, extra-wide Roomy jeans, straight-leg styles, flares, skirts and jorts. The free jeans are the most limited reward in this guide, so arrive before opening if they are your priority.
| Location | 59 Greek Street, Soho, London |
|---|---|
| Dates | 5–6 September |
| Times | 11am–5pm daily |
| Cost | FREE entry and activities; limited FREE gifts |
| Booking | Walk-in |
Which London pop ups should you prioritise?
The events on 1 and 3 September disappear first. Book Back to Hogwarts and LOOKFANTASTIC in advance, then choose between the pizza giveaway, Ghost Café and Matrix according to timing. Oatly, The Ordinary and Fenty run for several days, while Motel’s most valuable free gifts are likely to create early queues.

- Check the organiser’s latest update on the day because timings, queues and stock can change.
- Arrive early for limited food, beauty samples, free products and personalised services.
- Remember that FREE entry does not mean every product or piece of merchandise is free.
- For ticketed experiences, make sure every person in your group has the required ticket.
