Beyond Beauty Festival returns to Covent Garden from 4–13 September 2026, bringing beauty pop ups, fragrance launches, consultations and brand experiences to the Piazza and surrounding streets. With seven main beauty pop ups plus a rotating Fragrance Garden, it is one of the biggest free beauty events in London this September.
This guide explains how to make the most of Beyond Beauty Festival: which pop ups to prioritise, the products worth testing, every Fragrance Garden date, and a practical route that reduces unnecessary queuing. Access to the Piazza experiences is free, but consultations, samples and activities are subject to availability and each brand manages its own queue.

The seven Beyond Beauty pop ups
1. Fenty Beauty Fluid Flex Gym

The Fenty Beauty Fluid Flex Gym is one of the festival’s headline pop ups. It centres on the new Pro Filt’r Fluid Flex Natural Matte Longwear Foundation, a waterproof, flexible foundation available in 50 shades. The formula is designed to give a skin-like natural-matte finish while moving comfortably with the face.
Make this an early stop if shade matching is important. Test the chosen shade on your jaw and look at it outside the pop up in daylight before buying. The London installation runs for the full festival, before the Fluid Flex Gym tour continues to Exchange Square in Manchester on 19 September, Birmingham Bullring on 26 September and Paradise Place in Liverpool on 3 October.
2. Medik8 Lab

Medik8 Lab brings the brand’s CSA Philosophy—vitamin C and sunscreen by day, vitamin A by night—to the Piazza. Personalised consultations are available subject to capacity, so arrive with one clear skincare concern and a list of products already in your routine.
Products worth asking about include Crystal Retinal, which comes in progressive retinal strengths; Liquid Peptides Advanced MP; C-Tetra Advanced vitamin C serum; and Advanced Day Ultimate Protect SPF50+. A consultation is more useful than collecting random samples because actives such as retinal, acids and vitamin C need to suit your skin and existing routine.
3. Lisa Eldridge colour consultation pop up

Lisa Eldridge’s pop up focuses on colour: identifying undertone, refining a complexion shade match and previewing the brand’s next launch. This is another consultation-led stop to visit early, because individual appointments can create slower queues than open sampling stands.
Use the session to compare the Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint, a lightweight hybrid formula with 78% skincare ingredients, with fuller-coverage complexion options. Photograph your shade name in daylight and note your undertone, even if you do not buy immediately; that information is useful when choosing foundation, concealer and lip colours later.
4. Paula’s Choice peptide pop up

Paula’s Choice is presenting the new Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Intensive Moisturizer, a rich, non-greasy cream formulated to visibly plump and replenish dry skin. Complimentary consultations are available subject to capacity, alongside the brand’s established bestsellers.
If you are new to the range, ask how the moisturiser fits around the cult Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. Do not introduce several active products at once simply because you discovered them at the festival; use the consultation to build a gradual, compatible routine.
5. Medicube Korean skincare pop up

Medicube brings Korean skincare, viral devices and a block-stacking game to Beyond Beauty. The interactive format makes this one of the quicker, more playful stops, although product demonstrations can still draw queues.
Look for the AGE-R Booster Pro, a multi-mode skincare device associated with enhanced product absorption and glow, alongside Collagen Night Wrapping Mask and Zero Pore Pads. If you test a device, ask which settings suit your skin, whether conductive product is required and how often it should be used; that is more valuable than relying on a quick social-media demonstration.
6. Salt & Stone Greenhouse

The Salt & Stone Greenhouse is a sensorial body-care stop built around six transportive scents. Rather than smelling every product in quick succession, choose two fragrance families and compare them across body wash, mist and aluminium-free deodorant.
Start with the brand’s best-known scent directions – Santal & Vetiver, Bergamot & Hinoki and Saffron & Cedar – then explore the Salt & Stone Body Wash and fragrance discovery sets. Keep this stop after complexion consultations so scented products do not interfere with shade matching.
7. Takami Blue Cart

The Takami Blue Cart introduces the Japanese skincare brand’s formula-first approach and offers a complimentary Skin Truth diagnostic with the Skin Pro team. It is a useful early stop if you want the result to guide which later skincare pop ups are relevant.
Ask about the brand’s skin-peel concept and how exfoliation should be balanced with other actives. A diagnostic is most productive when you disclose sensitivity, prescription treatments, retinoids and exfoliating acids already in your routine. Avoid collecting multiple exfoliants to use simultaneously.
The Beyond Beauty Fragrance Garden: every brand and date

The Fragrance Garden on the West Piazza changes brand almost every day, so the best day to attend depends on what you want to smell. Visit it after skincare and complexion consultations: fragrance on your hands and clothes can distract from other product testing.
| Date | Fragrance brand | What to discover |
|---|---|---|
| 4 September, 12–7pm | Phlur | Vanilla Canyon: velvet plum, wild honey, Madagascar vanilla, patchouli and oak wood. |
| 5 September, 11am–7pm | DedCool | Mocha Magic: espresso, mocha, biscotti, toffee, vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood. |
| 6 September, 11am–7pm | Chloé | Atelier des Fleurs Cedrus de Nuit, pairing cedar with the honeyed, spiced Queen of the Night flower. |
| 7 September, 11am–7pm | Ellis Brooklyn | PLUM TONIC: sparkling mandarin, plum nectar, açaí, florals, amber and sugared musks. |
| 8 September, 11am–7pm | Vyrao | Ever 11, a darker composition featuring black cherry, leather, patchouli, vanilla and tonka. |
| 9 September, 11am–7pm | Kilian Paris | The Kilian Bar, offering a more theatrical route through the house’s fragrance collection. |
| 10 September, 11am–7pm | Hermès | Barénia Pleine Fleur: white lily, orange blossom, patchouli and miracle berry. |
| 11 September, 11am–7pm | Chloé | A second chance to explore Atelier des Fleurs Cedrus de Nuit. |
| 12 September, 11am–7pm | Hermès | A second Barénia Pleine Fleur day. |
| 13 September, 11am–7pm | DedCool | A second opportunity to smell Mocha Magic on the festival’s final day. |
How to make the most of Beyond Beauty Festival
1. Choose the date by fragrance, not only by convenience
The seven main beauty pop ups run throughout the festival, but the Fragrance Garden changes daily. Pick your preferred fragrance brand first, then build the rest of the visit around it. Chloé, Hermès and DedCool each have two dates; Phlur, Ellis Brooklyn, Vyrao and Kilian Paris have one.
2. Arrive at opening and prioritise consultations
Go first to Lisa Eldridge, Takami, Medik8 or Paula’s Choice because personalised consultations have the slowest throughput. On 4 September, the Piazza starts at 12pm; from 5–13 September it starts at 11am. Be in Covent Garden shortly before opening, especially on Saturdays.
3. Follow an efficient Piazza route
- Diagnostic: Takami Skin Truth or Medik8 consultation.
- Complexion: Lisa Eldridge, then Fenty Beauty.
- Targeted skincare: Paula’s Choice, then Medicube.
- Body care: Salt & Stone.
- Fragrance: finish in the West Piazza Fragrance Garden.
This order keeps perfume away from your skin during complexion and skincare testing. It also gives you time to see a foundation shade in daylight before deciding whether to purchase.
4. Bring a useful beauty kit
- A written list of your current skincare and active ingredients.
- Your foundation and concealer shade references.
- Blotting paper or fragrance cards; avoid testing every scent directly on skin.
- Water and a portable charger for virtual queues and confirmations.
- A small tote, while assuming samples and gifts may run out.
5. Leave time for the wider Covent Garden programme
Beyond Beauty extends beyond the Piazza, with more than 80 participating beauty brands, in-store activity and selected masterclasses around the neighbourhood. After the pop ups, check the official programme for nearby Space NK events and participating stores. Treat Piazza freebies as a bonus rather than a guarantee: queues can close before the advertised finish when capacity or stock is reached.
Best Beyond Beauty dates for different interests
- For new gourmand fragrance: 4 September for Phlur Vanilla Canyon or 5/13 September for DedCool Mocha Magic.
- For makeup: any morning, prioritising Lisa Eldridge and Fenty Beauty.
- For skincare: start at Takami or Medik8, then Paula’s Choice and Medicube.
- For quieter browsing: choose a weekday and arrive at opening.
- For a full-day beauty itinerary: allow two to three hours for the Piazza before exploring Covent Garden stores and events.
Information checked on 31 August 2026. Brand schedules, queues, gifts, samples and consultation availability may change without notice. Check the official Covent Garden and Space NK pages before travelling.
