Today, we’re talking about the new Tocobo Cica Complex Range launch. If you have seen my recent IG stories, you’ll probably know that I’m really into their new releases. But how did I get on with the Tocobo Cica Calming Gel Cream, Tocobo Cica Calming Aqua Pad, Tocobo Cica Cooling Sun Stick, and Tocobo Cica Calming Sun Serum…?
First things first; what is Centella Asiatica, also known as Cica? You might be familiar with this ingredient if you use a lot of Korean skincare products, as it’s a pretty popular extract to formulate with. Centella Asiatica is a medicinal herb with a long history in traditional medicine, particularly for its wound-healing and anti-inflammatory properties. This ingredient is packed with beneficial compounds like asiaticoside, madecassoside, and Asiatic acid, which help to soothe and repair the skin barrier. These components make Cica an excellent choice for sensitive or irritated skin, offering a calming effect and promoting faster skin regeneration.

These products caught my eye immediately; if you’re a regular around here, you probably know I love anything with soothing and hydrating properties. As someone with combination skin prone to redness, I want products that provide lasting moisture and help calm any irritation but are also lightweight.
